The ASSE Gold Coast Chapter requests all Chapter members to review the attached Gold Coast Chapter Bylaws.

President's Message

To address membership’s desire to earn CEU’s towards certification, February’s meeting is entitled “The Five Types of Human Error” and will result in CEU’s being awarded to those who participate.  March’s topic will be “Slips, Trips and Falls” and also will result in CEU credits.  We are also trying to arrange a speaker to cover the updated ANSI Protective Footwear standard in conjunction with the CEU topic.  In addition to the topics, we will be reviewing proposed rules for the Chapter’s PDC Grant to aid a Chapter member in attending the ASSE PDC in Denver. A significant eligibility requirement will be participation in the Chapter meetings and activities.  As a Chapter, a main concern is the professional development of its members and we are addressing that issue.  As a Chapter, we should also become an active Safety proponent and be involved with our community in that regard.  Think of ways in which our Chapter can promote safety in our community and bring them up for discussion at our meeting.

Chapter Meeting Information:

Chapter meetings are scheduled to start at 9:00 am on the dates indicated. All meetings are held at the Palm Beach County Risk Management Meeting Room located at 100 Australian Ave., Suite 200, West Palm Beach.
