The ASSE Gold Coast Chapter requests all Chapter members to review the attached Gold Coast Chapter Bylaws.

President's Message

April's meeting was well attended and Karri Russ gave an outstanding presentation on strains and sprains prevention in an aging workforce. The Chapter also agreed to participate in the Progressive Agriculture Safety Days; an event in which the children of agricultural workers are provided a day of safety training on everything from agricultural chemical safety, wildlife, farm equipment safety, etc. Thank you Mark Waring and Wayne Salen for taking the lead.

My term as Chapter President comes to a close at the end of June when the Chapter goes into summer hiatus. I will be taking on the mantels of Delegate to the House of Delegates and Past President. My last meeting participation will be in May, as I will be attending the PDC in June. Mark Waring, our current Treasurer, is the President-Elect and will be taking over in June. I will be attending the PDC in Denver and participating as the Delegate to the House of Delegates for the Chapter. The Chapter still needs your support by volunteering to take on the responsibility of the currently unfilled positions of Secretary, Membership Chair or Chapter Treasurer. If you are interested, please contact myself or Mark.

Chapter meetings are scheduled to start at 9:00 am on the dates indicated. All meetings are held at the Palm Beach County Risk Management Meeting Room located at 100 Australian Ave., Suite 200, West Palm Beach.
